Suffield Country Club
The date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Don’t miss out!
You may have missed out on this one, but keep in touch as we’re always up to something new and exciting.
In non-pandemic times, our tournament attracts approximately 200 participants and players, many of whom EMS parents and alumni, from Enfield and surrounding communities. We draw supporters from outside of the Montessori community as well. Our guests represent the diversity of northern Connecticut: community leaders, business people, involved citizens, as well as golf enthusiasts. This event has something for everyone:
Whatever the skill-level or motivation for support, all are welcome to share in this beautiful day of golf, community, and fun!
Four-Person Scramble - Each player tees off on a given hole, and the best tee shot is counted for the game. All players then take their second shots from the location of the best ball, and so on. Play continues in this manner until a ball lands in the hole; and the process is repeated for each of the remaining holes on the course.
Note: Players may take consecutive shots. Balls must be placed within one club-length (no nearer) of the hole (within six inches on the green). Balls must be placed in the same situation as the best ball from the previous shot (i.e., rough, trap, etc.).
Rules & Contests:
• Men: White Tees
• Ladies: Red Tees
Fun Pass! ($20)
A coupon which can be redeemed during play for two mulligans* AND one of a number of fun, free alternatives. (*Mulligans are not sold separately.)
Contestant to land a shot closest to the pin on Hole 9 wins.
Note: You cannot use a mulligan to “win” any hole-in-one contest.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will be awarded. Any ties will be decided by a matching of cards by the PGA professional.
Cash bar, boxed dinner, and raffle on the terrace, immediately following play.
